Trinagon, you'll have to refresh your theme. Click on nn- Viewn- Refresh ThemennThat should update Windows Live Writer with your current theme. But, be forwarned, WLW does not recognize all themes - especially heavily customized themes like the one I use. At best I get an approximation of my blogs in WLW. It is by no means exact. But, I set u WLW for my friend that uses a basic WordPress theme and it looks perfect.nnGood luck.

If you have Word 2007, it's got a "publish to blog" feature that's pretty handy. It actually generates clean xhtml, and integrates seamlessly with WordPress, too.

Back in the old days, before WordPress auto-saved in-progress posts it was a liability and I explored some offline, external editors. Nowadays, the risk is lowered and I'm <i>always</i> connected. The WordPress editor has it's share of quirks, but I'm pretty comfortable in it (both visual and code views) and looks like I've authored over 1,300 posts. The updated media insertion stuff under WP 2.5 is somewhat buggy and has been annoying, but I can work around it until they get some fixes in.
