I just stumbled on this trying to find out how to get my ds3 on my pc to work... and read your article. Every game on ps3 that has done patches has done it on startup for me. Even rfom. I have never had an ordeal installing a patch. You just turn on the game and it says it has to update to whatever version...you wait and its done..how freakin hard is that?
